Friendly and helpful staff. Very nice gentlemen helps with breakfast.
Internet service is a nightmare. In the year 2008 there is no wifi at all. LAN costs 15 (!) pound for 24 hours. But checkin is not before 15 h. and checkout before 11 h. So 1 night guests don't even stay 24 hours in the hotel. We stayed 2 nights and paid 30 pound for internet. Our Mac mail didn't even work here. Will avoid Holiday Inn in future because of the internet policy.
