Shopping
There are several areas for some shooping. Right down town two blocks from the Inn. There are several shops to choose from truely there is one for everyone. The Nittany Mall is located about ten minutes from the Inn and there is also a place called Boalsburg with lots of little shops.

Local Attractions
There are several local attraction here in Happy Valley. There are a variety of different things to do. There is Beaver Stadium, Bryce Jordan Center, Lion Statue, and so much more.

We offer a very nice facility right here at the Nittany Lion Inn. We offer lots of equipmet for a great workout. There are some health and fitness clubs in the area though. East Coast, Fit for play, Golden fitness, karate, etc.

Fine dining is offered in The Dining Room at the Inn for Breakfast 6:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.; Lunch 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.; dinner 5:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.; casual dining in pavilion-style lounge, Whiskers, with outdoor courtyard seating.

• Directions to Hotel : From the East I-80 in PA, use Exit 161(old Exit 24). Follow PA 26 South to U.S. 322 West Bypass. Turn right onto the Bypass then, take the next exit. Which will be Exit 73: Pennsylvania State University/Innovation Park. (You begin to notice that the lanes will shift; but you still want to tak that first exit.) Turn right and merge onto Park Avenue. Follow Park Avenue, the entrance to the Inn will be on the left hand side before the intersection of Business 322/N. Atherton Street. From New York City (225+miles) take the George Washington Bridge to 1-80 West. See directions from 1-80 above. From Philadelphia (nearly 200 miles) take Philadelphia Schuykill Expresway to the Pennsyvania Turnpike West. Take Exit 19, Harrisburg East, and follow the signs for the next 15 miles to Route 322 West. (The actual route you will follow is: I-283 to I-81 West to 322 West.) Take 322 West, past Lewistown, to State College. (Alternate route: take the Northeast Extension of the Turnpike to I-80.) Follow the directions from I-80 above). From Harrisburg, (80+miles) follow the signs to Route 322/22 West. Take 322West (you will see signs for the towns of Lewistown and Boalsburg and then proceed onto State College).
