(approximately six hours) Take US-95 North for approximately 169 miles taking a left onto NV-266. Take this road for approximately 45 miles bearing left onto CA-168 (Westgard Pass) for 38 miles. This road will T onto US-395. Make a right onto US-395 for 53.5 miles taking the exit onto CA-203 (Mammoth Lakes/Devils Postpile). Once in town, go through the first stop light making a right in front of the Chevron Gas Station. Bear right as the driveway the Best Western High Sierra Hotel is to the right of the gas station. WINTER: Check Caltrans for CA-168 weather road closures. ?From: San Francisco (Summer) Interstate 80 East over the Bay Bridge towards Oakland. Take the Hayward/Stockton Exit onto Interstate 580 for 46.3 miles. Stay to the left taking the left fork onto Interstate 205E. At 13.6 miles, exit onto Interstate 5 for only 2.1 miles. Take Exit 461 onto CA-120E which will take you all the way through Yosemite National Park (inform the National Park attendant that you are passing through and they may not charge you for the entrance fee). Bear right as the driveway to the Best Western High Sierra Hotel is to the right of the gas station. ?From: San Francisco. (Winter) Interstate 80 East over the Bay Bridge toward Oakland. Continue through to Sacramento. From here you have two options depending on whether it is snowing in South Lake Tahoe. If no snow: take US-50 to South Lake Tahoe taking a right onto 207. Take a left onto Centerville Lane until you intersect with US-395. Make a right going South. If snow: stay on Interstate 80 East all the way to Reno making a right onto US-395 South. Once on US-395, you will go for approximately three hours making a right onto CA-203 (Mammoth Lakes/Devils Postpile). Once in town, go through the first stop light making a right in front of the Chevron Gas Station.
