The lodge is situated just outside Hout Bay; just off Chapmans Peak drive within the Cape Mountain reserve. The 5 Star Tintswalo Atlantic is the only lodge within Cape Town placed on the Atlantic Oceans edge. The suites are authentically decorated to emulate the experiences and colours of various islands of the world. All suites face the sea and the views of the Sentinel and open Ocean are breathtaking at both sun rise and sun set. They provide supreme comfort and privacy and boast spacious en-suite bathrooms with slipper bath; his and her basins and shower. The air-conditioned suites are situated on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean and all have a unique view of the ocean and the majestic Sentinel across the bay. The pebbled beach directly in front of the lodge is secluded and sheltered by winds and is one of the boundaries of the Table Mountain National Park; globally known for its extraordinary rich; diverse and unique fauna and flora. At Tintswalo Atlantic Cape Town restaurant the executive chef will happily allow interaction in the open plan kitchen and encourages guests to enjoy his culinary creations beyond just breakfast. Children over the age of 17 are welcome in the main lodge and dining room. Child Information; Children over the age of 12 are welcome at the Presidential Suite on a fully exclusive basis; but may not have dinner in the dining room after 6pm. Guests are driven to Tintswalo Atlantic Cape Town from Cape Town International Airport and guests driving their own cars are provided with free parking at the entrance to the lodge and then driven down to the lodge at the waters edge. We would welcome children of all ages should the lodge be on a fully take over basis and with the full understanding that the lodge is placed on the waters edge.
