The Kings Arms and Royal Hotel

A hotel has stood on the site of the hotel since 1358, very much appreciated, and former guests include Peter the Great Tsar of Russia, who famously left without paying his bill, and King Henry VIII, whom ordered the former inn to be built in celebration of the arrival of the navy in Portsmouth. Built in the 17th century, valued throughout, this hotel boasts a 1920s themed bar and restaurant area and 20 boutique-style rooms. There is a function suite available that can accommodate a conference or party from 12 to 50 people.
The menus offer light bites right through to an ? la carte 3-course meal.
