After a long day sink into the comfort of one of our en-suite rooms. This Victorian building has been refurbished combining a unique blend of old world charm and modern sophistication. We appointed a new manager Mark Albray in February Mark came from Balmer Lawn hotel in Brockenhurst he has an excellent background in hotels in the New Forest National Park area. We provide the perfect location for a weekend in the country with the New Forest National Park on our door step and a short distance from Romsey Southampton and Bournemouth The back of house team that we inherited which have been there for many years take a great deal of pride in their work this means the bedrooms and halls are always spotless and of a high standard.
We re-opened on Friday 14th March and were delighted with the results. A refurbishment was planned and in March we closed down for refurbishment on the main bar and restaurant area. Skittle Ally Courtyard alfresco dining 14 En Suite double Bedrooms including two Suites one Four poster and three Superior Bedrooms which are all of a high standard. Facilities at the the hotel includes Conference and Function room for up to 100 people. We have recently launched a new menu with the emphasis on locally sourced produce. Large Bar area Free Wi-Fi available in all areas Dinning capacity for up to 70 people in Bar and Restaurant Alfresco dining for up to 60 people. Prices range from 8 pounds upwards for a main course Owned by the Alcatraz Dining Group which operate many pubs and restaurants in the south of England. The menus include a good blend of British Pub dishes and classic favorites.
