Visitors appreciate the hotel Hotel is situated on the southwest coast of Madeira Island, valued throughout, between a gold sand beach and mountains, only 20 minutes from Funchal city and 30 minutes from Madeira International Airport. Those who come to dinner with the firm intention not to have a starter today will fail in having the main course straight away. Dining: The half pension buffet is so nice and lovingly prepared that it already tasted well before having started to eat, and above all, as the eyes are sooner pleased than the mouth. 2 restaurants, very much appreciated, the Onda Azul and the Calheta, and 3 bars, the Por do Sol, Rabacal and Bar da Praia. No matter if salmon, valued throughout, salad or fish, the food is a pleasure. There are some comfortable arm chairs to let a beautiful day come to en end. Those who want to have a good drink in the evening rather prefer to go to the pool bar or to the big bathing area in the basement at pool level.
