At 800 years old- New Hall has a long history of providing discerning guests and residents the finest English hospitality and today is arguably better than ever. Sympathetic renovation has provided up-to-the-minute facilities whilst retaining most of its medieval charm and character.
Lying within 26 acres of mature- elegant grounds this hotel is widely reputed to be the oldest inhabited- moated manor house in England.
All of the guest rooms are individually designed and feature modern comforts such as complimentary wireless internet connection- satellite television- hairdryer- iron and board and tea/coffee making facilities with homemade biscuits. Public areas with their fine paneling and mullioned stained-glass windows create a unique historical ambience; the magnificent Great Chamber is particularly impressive. The Terrace restaurant is equally as popular with a tempting range of home cooked favorites and a friendly welcome that characterizes New Hall.
Dining at New Hall is a highlight of any visit as the kitchen take a special pride in selecting the finest locally sourced ingredients and preparing them with a special care that has seen the Bridge restaurant picking up a number of awards over the years. Choose from 6 event suites able to host up to 200 people.

BHX- Birmingham International Airport : BHX- Birmingham International Airport- 15 Mi NE; Head for the M42 motorway and travel northbound -Bear left off junction 9 of the M42 onto the A4097 sign posted Walmley/Sutton Coldfield. Follow the A4097 for 2 miles to the first roundabout and take the second exit sign posted Walmley keeping Asda/Walmart on your right-hand side. Take the second exit off the next five roundabouts following signs to Sutton Coldfield. At the sixth roundabout take the third exit following signs for Sutton Coldfield This is Walmley Road. The driveway to New Hall Hotel is immediately on your left. Directions from the North. M6 TOLL ONLY.
Take junction T2 off the toll road. At the roundabout take the first exit sign posted A446 Lichfield. After the speed camera take the second turn left onto Grove Lane. Follow this road back over the toll road and continue to crossroads with the Anvil Public House on the far right-hand corner. Turn left at the crossroads. Follow to the first roundabout and take the third exit sign posted Sutton Coldfield. At the second roundabout take the third exit sign posted Sutton Coldfield This is Walmley Road. The driveway to New Hall Hotel is immediately on your left.
