Each room is imaginatively decorated and are furnished in keeping with the buildings period features. Outside car park facilities are available free of charge for hotel guests. Every comfort is catered for; with lavishly deep roll top baths and stimulating showers to ease those overstretched muscles. Children aged 3-11 pay 25 EUR if sharing a room with parents-2 adults. The hotel is a secluded private estate in Co. Monaghan and covers 1000 acres of undulating Irish countryside; ancient woodland and glittering lakes. It is one of only 30 great Irish Castle Estates still run by the original family. The hotel is located 80 minutes from Dublin; 70 minutes from Belfast; 30 minutes from Armagh City and is only 10 minutes outside of Monaghan town.

Travel information

Dublin Airport : Exit Dublin Airport and follow the signs for M1-N1 for Belfast. Remain on the M1 for approximately 35 miles then take the Ardee-Derry exit-N2. Just before Ardee go straight through the first roundabout and take the second exit off the next roundabout for N2 Derry. Do not go into Ardee-follow through towards N2 Derry. Follow the N2 signposted for Derry-Monaghan and carry on all the way to Monaghan town; bypassing Carrickma Cross and Castleblayney. Continue on the N2 until you reach the sign entering Monaghan town. At the first roundabout take the second exit signposted for Derry on the Monaghan bypass. Do not go into Monaghan town. Continue to the second small roundabout and take the first exit. Take the third exit off the next roundabout signposted for Armagh-N12. Continue for approx. two miles until you see a signpost for Glaslough-N185. Turn left here. Continue ahead until you meet the Castle Leslie Estate wall. Follow it into the village of Glaslough and then continue straight through the village and up to

Belfast Airport : Exit Belfast Airport and follow the M1 to Junction11. Turn off onto the M12 and follow the signs to Portadown. At Portadown follow the signs to Armagh on the A3. When in Armagh follow the signs to the Palace Stables. Take the left turn after the Palace Stables and follow this road for approx. 200m. Then turn right following the sign for Monaghan. Continue on this road passing through the village of Middletown before you come to the border. About 2 miles after Middletown; there is a Statoil petrol station on the border. After passing over the border drive on this road for approx. 2 miles before taking a right turn signposted for the village of Glaslough. Continue on this road until you meet the Castle Leslie Estate wall. Follow it into the village of Glaslough and up towards the gates of the estate. When inside the gates you will see the Hunting Lodge on your left and the car park on your right hand side.
