Domus Balthasar Design Hotel does its best to respect history while at the same time respecting the current needs and tastes of guests. The history of the building goes back to the 14th century; though the fittings are either modern or timeless. All the rooms have a direct dial telephone with answering machine and private number; fax and internet connection; multipurpose writing desk; personal electronic safe; mini bar; tea and coffee making facilities; TV with Satellite reception and a hi-fi mini system with CD; DVD and radio. The interiors are warm and cozy as well as chic and cool; with wooden typical design furniture with pure lines in dark colors; which combines well with the light; creamy tones of the carpets; curtains and other decorations. The luxury bathrooms are equipped with bathtub and shower; hairdryer; bathrobes and WC. Attic rooms are air-conditioned and in all other rooms there is a fan. Suites also offer a kitchenette with ceramic cooking stove; microwave oven and basic cooking equipment. In attic rooms there is a bathtub only. Additional Information; Children age 3 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. There is a public parking area on Malostranske Square just a few metres from Domus Balthasar Design Hotel at a charge per day; or there is a garage in a hotel nearby on request also at a charge. Domus Balthasar Design Hotel reserves the right to without prior notification cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number. The hotel is on the Royal route leading from Prague Castle among the picturesque houses of Mala Strana and over Charles Bridge to the Old Town.

Travel information

Ruzyne Airport : From the airport follow the signs for the centre; Mala Strana district. Then follow the signs for the main square; Malostranske Namesti. You have to park your car there and then reach the hotel on foot; cross the square and take Mostecka; the street leading to Charles Bridge. You will find us at number 5 on the right hand side of the street. Or exit the airport and take bus no 119 up to Dejvicka Metro Station and from there take the metro line A - Green to Malostranska Station. If your luggage is not too heavy you can reach the hotel on foot turning right at the traffic lights and then straight on to Malostranske Namesti. From there take Mostecka; the street leading to Charles Bridge and you will find us at number 5 on the right hand side of the street. Otherwise take the tram no 22 to Malostranske Namesti and then cross the street in the direction of Charles Bridge and take Mostecka. Exit the airport and take bus no 119 up to Dejvicka Metro Station and from there take the metro line A - Green to Malostranska
