Meeting / Conference Information
The recently refurbished Dom Pedro Baia Club has meeting space for up to 180 delegates. The Amadeus conference room is a finely decorated conference area on the 1st floor of the hotel, with a capacity for up to 180 guests and with a Top Table for 8. The Baia de Zarco restaurant, which can be used for private dining for up to 192 guests, offers views across the beautiful bay of Machico. A brand new purpose-built Forum Machico is just 30 meters away from Dom Pedro Baia Club, making it a perfect combination between the allurement of an untapped world-class meeting destination and all the charm of a small village. Forum Machico is an auditorium offering 283 seats plus another 220 seats in a telescopic platform. For multi-language conferences, Forum Machico contains 50 seats all equipped with translation facilities.

Outdoor Seawater Pool This pool is heated to a welcoming 24degC/75degF and is surrounded by greenery and exotic trees. From the sunloungers around the pool, guests may wonder at the fabulous views towards the mountainous peninsula of Sao Lourenco. There is a separate pool for children, showers and a towel service for guests. Souvenir Shop Located on the 1st floor and open every day. Unisex Hairdresser On the 1st floor, the salon is open Monday to Saturday. Massage Massage is available from a qualified holistic therapist. Games Room All sorts of card and board games are available in the Games Room. Tennis Court Guests are invited to use the hotel's tennis court located within a few yards of the hotel. Racquets and balls are available at Reception. Sports Court Volleyball, badminton, bowls and archery may be played next to the tennis court. All equipment is available from Reception. Diving Centre The in house Diving Centre 'Madeira Oceanos' offers a great professional team which is specialized in subaqueous photograph, diving nocturno, shipwrecks, depth, searchs and recovery, orientation and repairing of equipment. This diving school is affiliated to several international diving organizations such as PADI, SSI, PDIC, BSAC and IDD. Baia de Zarco Restaurant The hotel is proud of its Baia de Zarco Restaurant, overlooking the beautiful bay of Machico. The restaurant is decorated in soft peach tones which creates a restful atmosphere for diners. Opening times: Breakfast: 7:30 am to 10:00 am Lunch: 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm Dinner: 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm Piano Bar This friendly bar is on the third floor of the hotel, and is ideally placed for guests wishing to take afternoon tea. Every night, there is live entertainment, and guests may enjoy a pleasant sociable drink together. Pool Bar This bar is located next to the outdoor swimming pool. Opening times: 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, with lunch available until 2:30 pm.

• Area Attractions : The Sao Roque Chapel is located in the neighbourhood of the hotel. It was built at the end of the 15th century to honour a vow made by the second Governor of Machico to the saint for his miracle of ending the then current plague. The village of Machico has another beautiful old church, dedicated to Senhor dos Milagres, the Lord of Miracles, who saved Machico in the terrible flood of 1803. The anniversary is celebrated at a large festival every year on the 9th October. For fine panoramas of Madeira's east coast, Columbus' island of Porto Santo and the desert islands, there are two excellent viewpoints above Machico. With its sports facilities and entertainment programmes on this fabulous island, the Dom Pedro Baia Club offers both luxurious comfort and interesting activities for the most active holidaymaker. Reception will be happy to arrange golf at Santo da Serra and at Palheiro, and diving lessons at the internationally accredited school in Machico.

By Car from the Airport to the Hotel: Follow signs to Machico. At the end of the motorway is a sign that indicates Machico straight ahead, and Dom Pedro Baia Club Hotel to the right. Turn right, and the hotel entrance is on the right side.
