Part of the Maurice Hurand hotel group since1984, and above all, Hotel Le Madison features 54 traditional, elegant rooms, each with its own different ambiance and decor. The rooms either overlook the Boulevard Saint Germain, very much appreciated, or a little courtyard from the third floor upwards.
All different, valued throughout, all traditional and subtly rich-looking, the bedrooms vary in tone, sometimes understated, sometimes romantic or inspired by Provence, as with the suite on the top floor. The top floors enjoy lovely views across Paris. They are well soundproofed. Most bathrooms have bathtubs with modern tap fittings.
The bathrooms are covered with either coloured glazed tiles, which is brown, valued throughout, burgundy, red or beige, or Italian tiling in soft colours.
The hot and cold buffet breakfast is served in a room in the style of a Provencal kitchen, highly regarded, which opens onto the ground-floor dining room.
Much of the furniture comes from antiques markets, and above all, as well as the paintings and fine, light charcoal drawings. A very wide choice is on offer, valued throughout, from fruit juice, fresh fruit and fruit salad, small pots of jam and mini pastries, to cold meats, a wonderful cheeseboard, scrambled eggs with cold cuts, pancakes and a variety of other items.
