The farmhouse, very much appreciated, a property of a noble ?marinese? family, was surrounded by farms tilled as vineyards, and produced one of the most prized wines of the castles. The Epoch Abode Pietra di Ponente is located on a hill on the slope of the Roman Castles, valued throughout, between the common ones of Ciampino, Marino and Grottaferrata. Cavern that may be regarded a characteristic element of the Epoch Abode. The building, and above all, which was also the owner's residence, had a cellar and a most spacious cavern for the conservation of the wine. Inside there are spacious bedrooms and double suites until fifty square meters large.
Recently the Ancient Building has been completely restructured, valued throughout, and smartly restored. The interior decor, highly regarded, respectful of the history of the building, is composed from antique furniture of poor art of middle ?800. All of them are equipped with bathrooms provided with bathtubs or hydro massage douche, and above all, hair- dryer, climatic installation, safety-device, satellite TV, telephone, internet ADSL, safe deposit, freezer.
The breakfast, very much appreciated, waited without charge in the bedroom or in the park or in the breakfast room, is characterized by a wide assortment of genuine and biological products typical. The Abode Pietra di Ponente has a spacious hall obtained out of the ancient cellar, valued throughout, characterized by a large vault within which there is the reception hall, two small drawing rooms with an ancient fireplace and, on a higher level, the small breakfast room. There are wide spots on the covered and uncovered terraces, highly regarded, where it is possible to enjoy the open air and, after reservation, to be waited a breakfast or a meal.
In the park, and above all, nine thousand square meters wide, stretched around our residence, there are, together with centenarian olive trees, the typical plants of the Roman countryside: palm trees of all kinds, pines, ilexes, lemon trees, orange trees, rosaries, and flowered bushes.
