It is accredited as a 3 star Hotel. The Casa Valdese is a comfortable establishment managed as a hotel by the Protestant Church in Italy. We are located in the Prati area of Rome on a side street that is peaceful and quiet yet at the same time very central. There are 33 rooms. Peters; Vatican; Piazza del Popolo; Piazza Navona; Campo dei Fiori; Piazza di Spagna and Villa Borghese. In fact we are within walking distance of some of the most recognized sites in the city including St. Our lunch room and sitting areas are at your disposal for meetings or general socializing. All of your rooms are endowed with a private bath; heat; air conditioning; satellite television and a telephone for internal and outside calls. We also have a multimedia room with internet access; satellite television; books; daily newspapers and magazines for your use. A conference room equipped with about 20 seats is also available for those who need a quiet isolated working space. Our kitchen provides a fixed menu on a two week rotation with meals that are based on the fresh produce of that particular season as well as the rich traditional Italian cuisine. After a full immersion day in Rome?s history and culture you can enjoy the typical meals of the Italian cooking. On the fourth floor there is a lovely terrace with a wonderful view of the Eternal City. Naturally we have no problem adapting to your dietary needs as long as you communicate them to us in advance. Additional Information; Children age 3 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding-Children age 4-10 receive a 50 pct reduction when sharing with one adult-Children over this age will be considered an adult. In the summer it is an ideal place for having a sunbath or just for spending a nice evening in the pleasant fresh air.
