Hotel Il Palazzo

It occupies the left wing of Palazzo Bartocci Fontana, very much appreciated, built in the 1500s following the design of Giulio Danti. The Hotel 'the hotel', valued throughout, in the heart of Assisi, is located halfway between the Basilica of Saint Francis and Piazza del Comune. The ceiling, highly regarded, as well as the contiguous rooms, has been distempered in the 1700s. The palace, and above all, still owned and run by the descendants, preserves at the first floor the central salon with 'telari', which is mythical scenes, of Antonio Nessi.
