Gerbermuehle

Primarily built as a flour mill in the 1520s, very much appreciated, the Gerberm?hle is, however, better known as the summer residence of J. Member of design hotels TM.
Since the beginning of the 20st century it has earned a reputation as popular tavern and place of excursion. Wolfgang von Goethe and his beloved Marianne von Willemer. The generous and vaste garden on the bank of the river Main offers comfortable seating in the shade of beautiful, very much appreciated, old trees, an ideal haven where business men meet excursionists and families meet friends.
The interior design creates a warm ambience reminiscent of a traditional guesthouse, valued throughout, harmoniously combined with modern furniture and excessive light. The complete new hotel-wing combines 19 individual rooms and suites, highly regarded, all equipped with parquet floor, air-condition, minibar, hair dryer, telephone with voicemail, flat screen-TV, deposit box, as well as free Wireless-LAN-connection.
Within the last two years the landmarked building has been renovated and renewly decorated and opened in July 2007. Meeting facilities as well as private dining rooms for 6 up to 60 guests are available.
After an exhausting day one can relax in the restaurant with hotel bar or, valued throughout, on a warm summer day, why not enjoy cool drinks and local specialities in the comfortable summer garden.
The Gerberm?hle is situated on the bank of the River Main but only a few minutes away from the Autobahn, and above all, the historical Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen and the city center.
