Park Hotel RovioClients appreciate the hotel is nice and comfortable hotel; an oasis for peace and quite hospitality that has been family managed for over 30 years. Visitors appreciate the hotel is located in a hilly and sunny location at the foot of Mount Generoso in the typical Ticino village of Rovio and only 2 km from the Lugano Lake and 12 km from Lugano and Mednrisio. Its excellent location allows the guests to enjoy or improve their fitness as the surrounding areas offer many walking possibilities. A wonderful park and lawn invite guests to idle about offering a breathtaking view over the lake and the surrounding mountains. There is a small fitness area; sauna and hydro massage as well as a small library for those quiet moments before its time for tasty meal. A heated swimming pool during the season and in addition a little play area make this place ideal for family holidays. All the rooms are accurate and comfortable but different from each other and are equipped with bathroom with either bath or shower; hairdryer; private toilet; phone; safe deposit box; TV and mini bar. Our international cuisine and exquisite wine is served in either an air conditioned restaurant or on the outside terrace. We also offer apartments for minimum stay of 7 nights and arrival on Saturday. Some superior rooms have air conditioning at an extra charge 10 CHF per night per room and a hydro massage bathtub subject to availability. Additional cost for heating- if used- is 100 CHF. The final cleaning cost of 70 CHF is not included in the Apartment price- should the guest wish to use this service. Children age 5-12 pay double occupancy rate plus 25 CHF per night inc breakfast. Additional Information; Children age 0-5 pay double occupancy rate plus 10 CHF per night inc breakfast. Children over this age will be considered and adult. Children age 12-16 pay double occupancy rate plus 40 CHF per night inc breakfast.

Travel information

North Motorway A2 : Motorway A2 from North-Leave motorway at Bissone-Melide and take the direction of Bissone-Mendrisio. When you arrive in Melano turn left at the Tamoil petrol station and continue until the Red Church of Rovio. Turn left again and continue approximately another 150 m until you reach Park Hotel Rovio.

South Motorway A2 : Motorway A2 from South-Leave Motorway in Mendrisio and take the direction of Lugano by Cantonal Street until Melano. Turn right about 50 m before the Tamoil petrol station and continue until the Red Church of Rovio. Turn left and continue approximately 150 m until you reach Park Hotel Rovio.

Lugano Train Station : Take the train from Lugano Station to Monte Generosso Station. From the station follow the directions to the Red Church where the hotel is located 150 m from the church.
