Longhirst Hall excels as a dedicated conference centre. It has 18 dedicated conference and meeting rooms. Use of the extensive range of equipment is included in the delegate rate. Equipment includes flipchart, whiteboard, overhead projector, screen, data projector, TV & video, camcorder, laptop, slide projector, media projector, video conferencing via internal TV link and ISDN. Delegates have unlimited access to the refreshment centre. It is fully stocked with hot and cold drinks, fruit, biscuits and cakes which offers a very flexible catering option for meeting organisers. There is a business centre with internet access, video conferencing, fax, photocopier, scanner, black & white and colour printers, typing service, shredder, PowerPoint messaging system and the latest Windows software. 4 meeting rooms are air-conditioned and there are also portable units. Special 8 hour delegate chairs are used with good lumber support. All rooms are non-smoking, have natural daylight and also water coolers. Dedicated conference and meetings co-ordinator to manage your event. There is team building equipment and a training consultancy on site. Programmes can be tailor-made in the 75-acre grounds. Sports facilities are available. They include a fitness room, cricket, tennis, football and hockey. Golf is available at a supplement. Longhirst Hall has Category 2 disability access.
