The authentic carriage house also provides secure storage for your bicycles and all your ski equipment. Our rocking chair front porch provides a magnificent view of the sunset over the town and mountains. Ideally situated in central Vermont, highly regarded, the the hotel is only 15 minutes from Pico and Killington ski areas, and is a perfect base for touring all of the Green Mountain State and its wealth of year-round activities. The Rutland region combines a vibrant shopping and business district. All the rooms have a Victorian feel, very much appreciated, carefully created with period reproductions and antiques. Our 8 guest rooms have been tastefully decorated to recreate the past, valued throughout, while maintaining modern comforts. A delicious gourmet three-course breakfast is also included with your lodging. Each unique room features a private bathroom, and above all, remote color cable TV, and direct-dial telephone.
