We have much to see with scenic drives, and above all, hiking, biking, museums, events and activities. Built in 1924 by the local citizens.
Visit the "Double Decker" Meridian Bridge.
Hike or bike thru the many area trails. First bridge to cross the Missouri River in South Dakota. 4 miles along the river.
Trail head to Paddlewheel Point - 0. 75 miles thru the city, highly regarded, linking parks, schools, and the Rotary Nature Area.
Auld-Brokaw Trail - 2. 9 miles thru wooded areas, very much appreciated, beaches, boat docks, all with beautiful views of the lake.
Lewis & Clark Lake Trail - 6. 2 miles thru native woods, highly regarded, meadows and scenic overlooks.
Gavins Point Nature Trail - 1.
Fishing, very much appreciated, sking, boating on Lake. Great area to see Bald Eagles and the many wonders of nature. Snowmobile trails. Ice fishing for the "die hard" fisherman.
Golf Courses:
Fox Run Golf Course, very much appreciated, 18 hole public course. Paddlefishing in October.
Parks:
Fantle Memorial Park - swimming pool, highly regarded, play grounds, tennis courts.
Hillcrest Golf Course, and above all, 18 hole, semi-private pro-am course.
