Meetings: The Hotel has meeting rooms available. Standard conference equipment is also available -projector- screen- microphone- podium-.
Groups: The Hotel welcomes groups and motorcoach tours. Reservations and special arrangements for meals and meeting space may be made through the group sales office.
Examples of groups who utilize the Hotel*s facilities are: fall foliage tours- sight-seeing tours- hiking groups- golf outings- family reunions- weddings- and corporate groups.
Weddings: The Hotel Saranac organizes over 40 weddings a year. The menu price includes a draped and skirted head table- a candelabra- all round guest tables- quality chairs- white linens that also drape to the floor and any colored silk napkins that we offer. We can arrange for a different colored linen at an extra cost if you would prefer. You are also welcome to contract with your own linen professional at your expense. Flowers and other decorations are to be provided by you. We have a list of professionals we recommend for bands- photographers- limos and invitations. For wedding cakes we have an extensive combination of batters- fillings and frostings that are prepared in our own bakery. Our bakers can reproduce most any cake you choose just by providing a photo of the cake. The price of the cake will vary depending on the size and intricacy level. If you would like to provide your own cake- a 3USD per person fee will be added to your invoice. Our hotel requires a floor plan to be in our office at least one week prior to your event. Your individual sales person will work with you on possible layouts. Place cards must be in our office 24 hours in advance and in alphabetical order. If you have favors or specialty items- please bring them to us with specific instructions for distribution.

A.P Smith*s is the Hotel Saranac*s casual fine dining establishment. It is located off the main lobby and offers an array of dishes. They are open for breakfast- lunch and dinner.

The Boathouse Lounge
The Boathouse Lounge serves cocktails- and pub-styled fare continuously through the lunch and dinner hours. They offer a much more casual atmosphere- decorated with historic pictures of the hotel and Paul Smith*s college.
