M6 Motorway Exit 36 signed for A590 Kendal South Lakes. Follow the dual carriageway to the large roundabout and take the 2nd exit signed A591 Windermere. Stay on this road and go past Windermere- through the one way system in Ambleside- following signs for Keswick. After Rydal Water you will then see Grasmere Lake on the left hand side and The Prince of Wales Hotel.
