Recreation Information
The Reinhardswald in the north, the Habichtswald in the west of the hotel offer a wonderful low mountain range scenery with beautiful views and versatile vegetation. A variety of museums in and around Kassel offer interesting topics for everyone, culture and technology, intellectual and historical matters. Restaurant / Dining Information
Our Blaue Ente, a pure non-smoking restaurant of great popularity looking into a beautiful garden with pond. Benches creating a cosy atmosphere. Light as a dragon-fly... you will feel in the bright and elegant ambiance of the restaurant of the same name, featuring a lot of glass and modern Mediterranean-style furniture. Adjoining rooms, e.g. the room Wilhelmsthal, offer bigger tables. Good ventilation provides a smokeless environment here, too. Sitting in the middle of our garden by the pond, surrounded by well-tended bushes and flowers, you may eat a la carte or enjoy our event buffets. Steps are no problem throughout the house because there is a lift exception the Turmzimmer, easy accessible for wheelchairs. Families with children are also very welcome in our restaurants. Our special menu for children also offers free dishes for children under 6 years. At our Sunday brunch, qualified kindergarden teachers look after our young guests in a separate room.
