• Pisa : * Everyone knows the Tower of Pisa, the city of Pisa is not just the Tower, nor the marvellous Piazza dei Miracoli where it stands, with its Cathedral, Baptistery and Monumental Cemetery. Pisa is many other things as well: it is the city of the ancient Etruscan and Roman Port at San Rossore, one of the most recent and important archaeological discoveries made yet. It is the city of the tradition like the Luminara of Saint Ranieri, celebration renewed yearly on the streets running along the river Arno with seventy-thousand wax candles; the Regatta of San Ranieri during which boats representing the most ancient districts compete along the Arno River; Gioco del Ponte, the historically evocative event. During spring and summer time, suggestive boat journey on the Arno River to discover the true heart of Pisa.
• Florence & Fiesole : * Florence hosted plenty of creative minds who wanted to create a new culture. So Dante, Giotto, Botticelli, Leonardo, Brunelleschi, Donatello and Michelangelo have left their mark in the streets, the marble, the magnificent palaces and the museums of the town. Fiesole, centre of the region during Roman times, enjoys a spectacular panoramic location overlooking Florence. It was the favourite village of the Medici family and became later a favourite holiday resorts for foreign tourists
• Lucca : * The 4km long city walls, the narrow streets, the ancient towers, the green gardens and the typical shops in the historical centre give a charming touch to this town... lovely to visit by bicycle. The province of Lucca includes villages such as Garfagnana with its spectacular valleys, the Park of the Apuan Alps and villages encircled by walls, up to Versila with Torre del Lago and the places of Giacomo Puccini. The villas surrounding the town invite visitors to stroll through the natural and historical scenery.
• Volterra : * Volterra has a strategic location, from where you can overlook one of the most beautiful landscapes of Tuscany. One of the former twelve Etruscan Lucumonen called Velathri, during Roman times it was a powerful city. During the Middle Ages it became a flourishing free town. The historic centre from this period is very well preserved.
• Lari : * The village of Lari still shows today the typical marks of a Medieval fortified village, saving a part of its ancient ring of walls and the ancient castle of Medieval origin. In Lari, the Martelli family produce homemade pasta ("Spaghetti", "Penne Classiche", "Spaghettini" and "Maccheroni di Toscana"), obtained by slowly kneading the best durum-wheats with cold water. Only the members of the family work in the pasta factory. During your visit the Martelli family will show you how they produce their pasta.
• S. Croce : * The first shoemakers' guild was established in Pisa in the 13th century. The centuries-old handicraft tradition has been handed down to the present day, particularly in the towns along the lower Arno River Valley such as Santa Croce sull'Arno, Castelfranco di Sotto and San Miniato. Leather and skins are still bought directly from the local tanneries, which offer the highest standards of quality. Firms employ an average of 10-12 workers who craft all footwear through the various phases of work, from the making of the individual components to the finished product, still almost entirely performed by hand. In addition to footwear, local firms are renowned for the production of soft leather bags and other accurately finished goods. Leather masters carefully choose, treat and work the hides in the trendiest shapes and colours, thus contributing to the success of the "big names" for which the items are produced.
• Golf Castelfalfi : * Golf course has 18 holes along a length of 6645 mt. The par is 73. It includes the driving range, pitching green, putting green and bunkers. The main characteristic of the course is that you can often play down hill and not on plane or slope, even if the ondulations are several. You can find many water obstacles, frontally and laterally. Bunkers are not numerous; they are only alternative elements to the natural lines of the course. The puttings greens are different from other Italian Golf courses for their technical characteristics (booking).
• Tuscan Coast : * A wonderful sea, mild climate, hundreds of kilometres of sandy beaches in the shade of enormous cool pine forests, alternating with beautiful cliffs. A paradise, but with an essence that is not easy to understand unless you move away from the blue sea to explore the green and ochre of the hinterland, with its millenary history forged by powerful nature, in search of the hidden villages inhabited by simple, genuine folk.
• Terricciola : * Ancient village of Etruscan origin, Terricciola stands at the confluence of the valleys of the rivers Era and Cascina. Originally provided with defensive towers gained in the XII century an important role among the territories under the Bishop of Volterra. Terricciola is also famous for its excellent wine production.
