The Grand HotelSince being purchased by the Richardson Group in 2001- it has undergone a sympathetic restoration that has exposed its magnificent Victorian and Art Deco architectural characteristics. The 4 Star- AA Rosette Grand Hotel occupies pride of place on the Torbay seafront- commanding majestic views over the bay and out to sea.
The hotel has 131 bedrooms- 7 of which are Premier suites. The result is a perfect blend of modernity mixed with the opulence and grandeur of bygone days- when hotels were the places for society to be seen. All are decorated to a high standard and include all of the facilities and extras you would expect in a 4 Star hotel. The majority of rooms embrace the wonderful sea view and Torbay coastline. Dining at the Grand hotel in its award winning Gainsborough restaurant is a delightful experience Dinner is a leisurely feast with an excellent menu boasting locally sourced ingredients.
