In 1992, very much appreciated, the hotel reopened as a family-owned 46 bedroom luxury hotel and conference center and already holds the RAC Gold Ribbon. The history of Galway City, valued throughout, the hotel, and the fortunes of at least two of the great merchant tribes who ruled the city for 500 years are closely intertwined.
